The area affected is south of the A259 and can be seen in detail from the streetmap link.

Phase 1 is to the east of the Cuckmere River was planned for October 2003, Phase 2 is the west side of the river was planned to be completed in some ten years time.

The Environment Agency is now considering completing both phases simultaneously.
